Maristella Tanzi

Maristella Tanzi studied dance, in Italy and abroad, with A.Carallo, J.AStanzak, O.D 'Agostino, and R.Giordano G.Rossi, R. Murgi, M.Tompkins, MK, D.Zambrano, K.Simson, E.De Mello, K.Adibi, M.Lucenti, B.Caverna, F.Faust,S.Sandroni, V.Sieni.

She studied choreographic composition with O. D'Agostino.

He also studied hatha yoga, capoeira, acrobatics.

She is one of the founders of QuaLiBò dance company (www. qualibo.it) .

She is a dancer, an author, practices improvisation and creates site specific performances.

From 2003 to 2006 she dances with "Sosta Palmizi" in HIC(by G. Rossi and R. Murgi) and in Lolita (By S. Benni, P. Damiani and G. Rossi).

From 2006 to 2010 she is an actress in StoriEgiganti (by Michelangelo Campanale, Teatro CREST).

In the period 2008/09 she works as "guest artist" for Teatro Kismet OperA in the project "Theatre and Handicap"

In 2008, together with Francesca Giglio, she realizes Partitura Privata (Private Score), selected for Vetrina Anticorpi Xl, showcase for young dance authors.

Always with Francesca Giglio, she creates (dueperdue)perdue (2009) and the performance for urban areas Valkirie (2011).

Selected for a production project by the choreographer Tabea Martin for International Dance Raids- Festival OperaEstate - Bassano (July 19 /7agosto 2011).

Toghether with Carlo Quartararo, she is the winner of GD'A Award, first puglia edition, with N-esimo progetto fallimentare.

Carlo Quartararo

Carlo Quartararo begins his life in theater in 1997, studying as Actor. From 1997 to 2001 he performed, as actor, in many works at the theater "La Casa dei Doganieri" in Mola di Bari, directed by R. Caporossi, G. Ferraiola, P. Panaro, M. Dammacco, D. Abbado. Since 2000, he prefers to stay out of stage, as technician. From 2002 to 2005 he works as electrician at the Opera with "Fondazione Lirico Sinfonica Petruzzelli" of Bari. Since 2007 he deals with dance as Lighting Designer of the dance company "QuaLiBò – visioni di (p)Arte" and as technical director of "Visioni di (p)arte International Contemporary Dance Festival" in Bari, the "Alps Move" Festival in Sud Tirol and the "Transalptanz" Festival in Frankfurt – Germany. Actually he works as Lighting Designer with companies of theater, opera, dance and theater for children.
